About the Grant The Alliance for a Healthier Generation wanted to turn schools in four South Carolina counties into Wellness-Inspired School Environments (WISE) to improve the health and wellness of the community. 44,500 schools nationwide have made healthy changes using our tools and resources. Schools Using the latest research and an evidenced-based, whole child approach, we work with schools and districts to create healthy learning environments that empower students to thrive physically, emotionally, and academically. The Alliance for a Healthier Generation, thanks to support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Assisi Foundation, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is working with communities throughout the state to make it easier for kids to lead healthier lives.
